Nobody is Perfect
A big idea in the film "The Breakfast club" is nobody is perfect, everyone has problems and deals with them. The five characters in the breakfast club all have on the in common (family hatred) but have many different types of problems. Brian is under a lot of pressure to get good grades so he can be successful in life, but that puts him so on edge that he can't focus on other things like social, sports or leisure. John and Alison have the same problems, they have had a hard from family issues which has effected them dramatically, they don't care about anything, they could die and no-one would realise things like that. alison is a goth and has no plans in life due to the family issues. John doesn't care what happens to him and doesn't care what people think of him. Claire is rich and popular and very conceded. She finds it hard coping with all the latest gossip and fashion tips that she can't focus on grades or anything. Her parents spoil her and that has made her into a barbie. Lastly, andrew is a popular sporty guy who also has family problems. His dad is always on him about being a winner and being top dog. when andrew loses his father gets mad, which puts andrew under pressure. Andrew always wants to impress his father and he doesn't care what the consequences are on other people.
